- Freight is weighed in accordance with manufacturer instructions and workplace procedures
- Measured weight of freight is accurately recorded in accordance with workplace procedures
- Interpret freight documentation
- Hazards are identified, risks are assessed and hazard management implemented
- Correct manual lifting procedures are used when transferring freight to and from the weighing machine in accordance with work health and safety (WHS) regulations and workplace procedures
- Freight is weighed in accordance with manufacturer instructions and workplace procedures
- Measured weight of freight is accurately recorded in accordance with workplace procedures
- Measure freight dimensions
- Measured freight dimensions are recorded in accordance with workplace procedures
- Freight with unusual shape is noted and an appropriate record is kept in accordance with workplace procedures
- Confirm measurement against freight documentation
- Appropriate confirmation is recorded on air waybill in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
- Discrepancies in the documentation between measured weight and physical dimensions are addressed with the client and are recorded in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
- Complete air waybill documentation
- Air waybill is signed off and processed in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements noting all measurement outcomes
- Processed freight is transferred to despatch area
